World water cyrcle

The water from the soil surface evaporates.
Condensation occurs as it rises it is cooled and the water is transformed into steam. The droplets gather and form a cloud. Next, precipitation occurs, i.e., the droplets fall under its own weight. If the atmosphere is very cold, the water falls as snow or hail. If it's warmer, falling raindrops.
Some of the water that reaches the ground is used by living things; another reaches a river, lake or ocean. Another bit of the water is filtered through the ground, forming aquifers.
